Tuesdays With Tim - He Will Always Be with You
Attempting to figure out life on your own is like asking confusion to take a break and come back later, when your mind is at rest.
Poverty of the mind, of the heart, of your life comes from not trusting God. How difficult is life when every day is fraught with more and more and more to do because you believe this is normal living?
What would happen if, through faith in God’s Word, you would find trust? What would happen if, through the opening of your heart, you not only saw but felt the truth? What would happen if you actually recognized how encouraging His love is? What would happen to your morale if, when you gave His blessings away, you understood that He will give you more blessings? What would happen if you trusted Him when He tells you that He will always be with you?
He didn’t design us to try to figure every single thing out. He made us in His image to commune with Him and to help others to commune with Him. Imagine waking up every day knowing you will be working for God. You probably go into the world not knowing what to expect, where to go, what to do, how to do it, when to do it, or why to do it. Wow! Certainly that must scare you. All the uncertainty.
Right now, you get up and plan on this, that, and the other. You report to yourself, an employer, a customer, a group, a community, or a church. There are expectations to be met. You know what to do, when to do it, where to do it, why to do it, and how to do it. Most people’s lives are filled with disappointment and dissatisfaction with this process because they do not put Him first in their lives—and sometimes, they do not include Him in their lives at all.
When you not only believe but know in your heart that He is present with you, your understanding begins. Now you can, through your intuition and senses, obtain the victory that love gives at all times and in all places.
He will always be with you because He is your personal guard. He is your bodyguard, your spiritual guard, and your emotional and mental guard.
He is always with you. Let Him guide you, cleanse you, and heal you. Let Him refresh and renew you.
